Giving Back:: Future Renovates the Weight Room at his former High School

Future's nonprofit organization, FreeWishes Foundation, recently partnered with Foot Locker Atlanta to complete a full renovation of the weight room at Future's former high school, Columbia High.  Last December, Foot Locker Atlanta also teamed up with 2Chainz to complete the renovation at his, North Clayton High.

“Since our foundation is very big on health and wellness it was important for us to help create an environment for students in which they could be comfortable, have pride, and perform their best. Also, research shows that students who are physically active tend to excel academically, have better attendance. They are less likely to struggle with depression and other mental health issues.”- Tia Wilburn (Future's sister and Community Engagement Director of FreeWishes).

Future, whose real name is Nayvadius Wilburn, Stephanie Jester (mother), and his sister created the FreeWishes Foundation; dedicated to their late great-grandmother Ruby Nell Gates who promoted community service personally.  The foundation has been around for 10 years and counting, evolving into a pillar non-profit organization in the Atlanta community.  Their mission is to provide educational support, health & wellness, and transitional services to the community to empower them to be self-sufficient and allow their dreams to come alive.
