Every now and then, I select older songs for PPT.  This song isn’t that old… almost a year old.. but is still amaze.  The lyrics are so powerful and this girl can really saaanng.  I forgot all about it until it randomly came on the playlist last night and changed my mood.  If you’re in the DC area… you can catch her in concert at the 930 club on April 12^th @ 8pm.  Tickets are $20.  In the meantime…. These three lines in this song are so powerful.  The message for today can be interpreted in so many ways.  Don’t be so hard on yourself and life.  What does this mean to you?

My cousin Candice is leaving DC today and off to LA to continue her career in modeling.  Her going away festivity was last Friday and we all had a ball.  It’s bittersweet that you are moving across the country… but excellent that you are futhering your career!  Plus… it gives a perfect reason to visit LA J  Wishing you the best!  This song is for you!
