Now don't think for one second.. I am LATE on ANY news that deals with HOV... I just haven't had time to post.... and of course when i post for hov... I go all out. So here's the latest news on my man... ( even if you already knew... my man ALWAYS gets shine on here)
The idea of seeing The love of my life on the first "Forbes 400" cover with a prominent white man of the economy was truly amazing. And in a way.... surreal... because who ever would’ve thought... one of the most successful recording artists of all time, entrepreneur, and love of my life Jay-Z, Shawn Carter, would be photo’d on a cover and discussing “politics as usual” (not literally but pun intended) with the most successful investor to date, Warren Buffet. One seasonally warm September morning, Jay flew to meet Warren Buffett, on the Buffett's former home turf of Omaha, Nebraska. Initially, there were hopes of capturing the two moguls’ different perspectives on success and wealth (considering their dissimilar background) and to discuss the social obligations that come with each. On the contrary, Jay and Buffet quickly discovered they had more in common than anyone would have EVER expected between a 40-year-old rapper from the Brooklyn, NY Marcy projects and the 80-year-old guru of compounded returns.

Decoded.....
“It’s called Decoded because I am going to decode all the lyrics from my records. I am gonna pick the select ones, all the double entendres and things that people may have missed or may have gotten but want confirmation on it. That’s what the book is about, it’s called Decoded.‚”- Hov
While approximately half of the pages, from Hov’s memoir “Decoded”, will be displayed on traditional billboards, the remainder will be printed on unpredictable eccentric forms of outdoor media (i.e. the bottom of a hotel swimming pool, or on the felt of pool tables in a pool hall (peep in the picture below) --- Creatively, they will be on locations specifically cited on those pages of the book. You can find those pages when they randomly appear in cities including New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and London etc., until the release of “Decoded”. Bing.com plays a great factor in determining the location for the pages. Hov has teamed up with them to be the primary “home” for the online scavenger hunt. Clues will be given to reach the general location of the pages there, with a “proximity meter” indicating when you’re getting closer to the destination. The first person to discover the pages will be eligible to win a signed copy of the book, and a trip to Las Vegas to see Jay-Z perform at a New Year’s Eve concert…
Luckily for you social network heads, clues will be given on Facebook and Twitter on Jay-Z’s profile (s). No online access? Don’t worry. If you just happen to discover one of the pages by walking into it, you can wager a text to a number given that includes a code printed on the page. 'Decoded' hits stores November 16th, 2010. Anyone who knows me, knows... that it will be copped... IMMEDIATELY that day.
You can't tell me that ish right there ain't hot...
