MMG's Gunplay jumped by G-Unit camp??

Donkeys....

Over the weekend, celebs flooded their twitter timelines discussing the scenery of ass shots, groupies, outfits and more surrounding the BET Hip hop awards being filmed in Atlanta, GA.  The descriptions made it seem to be a replay of an NBA All-Star weekend.  However, it was all fun and games until beef intervened...

For a while... Young Jeezy and Rick Ross have been throwing subliminal shots at each other over tracks.  It was brought to my attention, but I never took it seriously until now.  It was reported that both rappers crossed paths backstage and exchanged words.  From that point, it escalated into a  brawl between both rappers' camps.  Sources claim there were shots reported, but there haven't been any confirmations on that.  Atlanta PD used pepper spray to break up the brawl, as individuals shortly after fled the scene.

Now fast forward to present day.  It was circulated all over radio waves this morning that Gunplay was allegedly "jumped" after the award show by 50 cent and his camp.  It didn't take long for the Breakfast Club to get 'Play to call in.  He confirmed the jump.. but it didn't go down how you think.  Listen here:

The boi got heart.  RNS.  On the flipside, BET says that this will not affect the airing of the show, and it is still set for Oct. 9th, 2012 @ 8pm.    Their statement:
“BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta.  For the past 7 years, BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop.  Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place.  BET Networks does not condone any type of violence.  Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

Stay tuned.  I'm sure there is more to this...
