A new version of ‘Open Letter’ has circulated the net. This time featuring Common. Now let me say.. I LOVE Common as an artist and definitely as a lyricist, but honestly I think he should have strayed from this one. It takes away the essence of why the song was originally made. I totally get where he was going with it but.. nah. However, it’s not like he was a horrible addition so carry on.
