July 6th (Today) marks the National Kissing Day holiday in the U.K.
Apparently, more countries have been following suit. The day has been now deemed as “International Kissing Day” or “World Kiss Day”.
According to Wikipedia, the idea behind the holiday is to remind people of the simple pleasures associated with kissing: as an expression and experience of intimacy.

Side-Commentary: No smooching for me :-/ . I wish. Maybe one day. Until then.. I’ll still dream of the possibility of that dreadful word
