The ball is rolling for the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Castings have been held for the F. Gary Gray recently in DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Baltimore, and Gardena, California. It was announced on radio show Dre's House earlier, that comedian Capone (Death of a Dynasty) was casted for the role of Suge Knight.
Word has circulated that the producers plan to begin shooting the film this summer to slate for a release sometime next year. I'm really excited for this. I hope it turns out well.
