-G Herbo to Billboard.
In lieu of the last day of Mental Health Awareness month, I spotlight another mental health program. (Chicago, IL) Project Swish partnered with G Herbo to launch SWERVIN' THROUGH STRESS. This program aims to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma associated with mental illness, promote x offer free non-conventional help through behavioral and emotional well-being practices, and prevent self harm through individual education and quarantine-safe programming.
SWERVIN' THROUGH STRESS targets African American and Hispanic males of ages 14-25 in the Chicagoland area.
Chicago native, McKinley Nelson, created Project Swish Chicago following a personal epiphany and passion to pay it forward to his community. The foundation was launched in Summer 2018 and continues to flourish with events and charities.
