In celebration of the inaugural National Cinema Day, Regal Cinemas and AMC Theaters are offering $3 movie tickets this Saturday only, September 3rd. While you can expect taxes and perhaps convenience fees for online purchases, there are no upcharges for the actual ticket. This means all formats, including... IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, ScreenX, and RBX etc will be available for $3.
More than 3,000 theaters are participating in this event across the nation. You can find a participating theater near you by entering your zip code here.
We're doing it by offering a 'thank you' to the moviegoers that made this summer happen, and by offering an extra enticement for those who haven't made it back yet.
