YES. I just said last week Nick was giving me that old flavor back.. and now here she is with another crazy hot verse. While many may not know who rapper Young Thug is, I can bet they will after the extra buzz Nick’ just gave his song ‘Danny Glover’. Although, Thug recently said in COMPLEX interview.. “ If you feel that you can just come in the studio and freestyle on my song, then I’m ready to rap battle you. That’s just how I feel about it because I know I’m way harder than another rapper freestyling on my song. I don’t want them to think that they good and that they’re doing me a favor...”… I hope he doesn’t try to ‘battle’ Nicki.
I understand where he’s coming from on the ‘think they are doing him a favor’ mentality, but on the flipside, I wish new artists’ would be more humble about a major artist hopping on to remix their song.
