Last night during the 2014 Grammys, MMG decided to drop the visual for the 'Black Grammys' track off the Self Made Vol. 3 compilation album. Directed by DRE films, this visual showcases the appreciation to the fans ...accompanied by sizzled bars of course.
I just want to speak on this. Last night(every year -_-), people were tweeting how 'we' really didn't win anything and were robbed from awards in certain categories (i.e. Best Rap Album etc.) News flash. The Grammys have never been about 'us' nor is it for 'us'. I wish folk would realize that. It's been evident for the longest. This is why we have our own award shows to give us the shine we deserve. It should come as NO surprise there who won certain things or who was even nominated. It's reminder songs like these with stand out artists that send a power subliminal message and in a way a will of empowerment.
