On Monday, a cutting ceremony took place in Washington, D.C. to unveil the city's first Go-Go Museum and Café. The new cultural landmark is housed over 8,000 square feet in the historic Anacostia neighborhood. In February 2020, Mayor Muriel Bowser signed DC law 23-71, selecting Go-Go music as the official music of Washington D.C.
