Hennessy Officially Launches "Henny White" in the U.S.

*Rihanna voice, the wait is ova... the wait is ova.
Since the beginning, Pure White Hennessy was illegal in the U.S.  You had to buy it from outside the country and get it through customs to bring back over.  If I remember correctly from personal experience, you were only allowed to bring 6 bottles total into the states.  You can imagine how it became a hot commodity here being that it wasn't so accessible.

To commemorate their 25th anniversary, Hennessy launched the specific cognac in the U.S. this month.  They've, also, rebranded the name from Pure White Hennessy to its popular nickname "Henny White".
In case you ever pondered on why Henny White was not sold in the U.S., here's the reason...

It's simply due to the way it's formulated.  Distilled to a higher proof, alcohol content, and less sugars than other cognacs made this baby disregarded by the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC)-- the regulators.  Thus resulting in it as being illegal to officially sell in various countries, including the U.S.

That is, up until now!  I never considered it to be stronger than regular Hennessy, but facts are facts.
If you haven't had it before, here's your chance.
