Je'Caryous Johnson is back with another live adaptation of a classic black film. Jason's Lyric Live! features the reprise of Allen Payne in his role of Jason as well as Treach as his role of Alonzo.
Jada Pinkett-Smith will not be reprising as Lyric and rather has Eva Marcille casted in the role. Adding Tyrin Turner as Josh/Jason's Brother, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as Maddog, and K.Michelle as Marti, makes for a pretty solid cast. The tour will kick off February 13, 2025 in Houston, TX.
