Black History Fact- February 4

Happy Friday lovies... I have a treat.. I'm giving THREE black history facts today :-)

On February 4, 1794, France abolished slavery. Unfortunately under the reign of Napoleon, slavery was re established in 1802 with the "Code Noir": which prohibited Blacks, Mulattoes, and other people of color from entering the French colonial territory at the time, as well as, intergrated marriage with whites.

It wasn't just America people.... know your facts...

Soror Rosa Louise McCauley (skee-wee)... Also known As Rosa Parks was born on this day... February 4, 1913

And last but not least... my little linebacker (nephew) was born on this day a year ago :-)

  1. Happy Birthday to the linebacker n good fact... Napolean reinstituing slavery as well as the first set of Jum Crow laws is seriously overlooked.
