Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi released his critically acclaimed debut "Man on the Moon: The End of Day" album in 2009.  In 2023, he is literally playing just that... a man on the moon.  Crater is set in 2257, focusing on a group of four kids living on a lunar colony.  They hijack a rover to go explore a mysterious crater ahead.    Cudi plays one of the kids' father.  Made by the producers of the hit series, "Stranger Things", it's sure to be a good one.  Check out the trailer after the jump!

Netflix teaser released for Kid Cudi's Animated Series, "Entergalactic"

The Man on the Moon.

Kid Cudi shares an official teaser of his upcoming animated Netflix series, Entergalactic.  Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, will star as the lead character along with other featured cast members including Ty Dolla $ign, Timothee Chalamet, Jaden Smith, Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Keith David, Macaulay Culkin and more.  

Entergalactic takes place in New York and follows a young artist named Jabari, who is navigating through life attempting to balance love and success.  

“This project will move you, it will take your heart places and make you fall in love again. I am so proud of every single person involved who helped bring my vision to life."- gushes Cudi in an Instagram post.

Man on the Moon III will really be answering the biggest question: Have I found happiness?...

Daniel Siwek over at the MusicConnection, sat down with the Cudster for a question and answer session about Hip-Hop growing up in Cleveland, moving to New York, learning from Jay-Z and Kanye, his thoughts on track 'features', MOTM 3 and more.  In the excerpt below, Scott confirms what all fans wondered about... Man On The Moon III.

There is also much anticipation for another MOTM (Man on the Moon: The End of Day) record.  What can we expect from that?  

Man on the Moon III will show a whole other level of maturity, and it will answer a whole lot of questions.  There's a lot of missing links between MOTM and MOTM II.  I also think that they were both very ignorant albums, so I think I'll eliminate a lot of that ignorance.
You'll see it coming from a person who is looking at things from a more mature mindset, with more understanding and growth. I want people to be able to put this album on at different points in their lives and grow with me. This series was meant to show me grow as a man and it would not be right to do MOTM III and have me talking about driving drunk. I didn’t want people to listen and feel like, “Oh he’s giving us a lesson,” rather than be entertained, but I’m not condoning that shit, that’s not cool. When I’m singing about driving drunk on “Pursuit of Happiness” on MOTM, you may remember that it was a nightmare. It was meant to be scary, the craziness, the fact that this person chooses to look for happiness in substances; and that’s scary, that’s a terrible combination, that’s a terrible way to go about things.
MOTM III will really be answering the biggest question: Have I found happiness? And it will lead people on in life, because there will not be another MOTM after MOTM III. It will send people off feeling satisfied

I STILL Have the *jaw dropped* face after watching this.

Last night...I noticed via twitter that  Cudi dropped a short film on the Halloween Holiday.  Unfortunately... due to certain circumstances...I wasn't able to watch it until today :-/

This is the complete OPPOSITE of what I expected.  This is an INTENSE one, but I think the underlying meaning is absolutely genius!  What did you interpret it as?

At the top of the year you seemed to be spending a lot of time in New York with Kanye

I was at another place, another dark place.  me and my girl had broken up.  I wasn't fully healed yet and being around Kanye' and music was my escape.  He's a sober guy.  He has a drink every once in a while, but seeing how he throws himself into the studio when he's stressing about someting... I totally admire that.  Being around that was therapy for me

Say what you want about Cudi... but this dude is Real.  There's no way to deny that.
