Time Warp... 2011 : Take Me High | Pac Div

Circa 2011.

Randomly: The weather is warm, sunny, and this song has been stuck in my head for over 24 hrs.  2011 was a good year for music.  I couldn't find it on YouTube to post on here.  Thank you Soundcloud.

Circa 2011.

My homie Jerm tweeted one of the bars to 'Take me High' yesterday (in which I finished in my mind) and the song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day. That rolled over to this morning, and I couldn't shake 'Fallin'. This song always has me reminiscing all crazy with a smirk. Ahhh.. that summer was great for one reason. On top of that, you can’t deny the Div's effortless flows over the 'Prototype' flip. Heat. Btw… Mania STILL goes; one of the best mixtapes that dropped that year.
Enough of the chatter tho.. Press play…

I’m slowly falling in love with you
Some say I already fell…

”Like [Pac Div] was in Brazil, loved the city of São Paulo and wrote a letter about the city.”…

The production complimented the topic and visual perfect. Check it out:

BeYoung, Like and Mibbs. Also known as the group Pac Div, took it over to Billboard.com to premiere one of their fav. tracks off their newly released album, G.M.B.  With much success being independent, there were those who’ve wondered.. How much does the Div really  pull in?  Group member, Mibbs, decided to speak up on it:

“The inspiration behind Sneakerboxes is really to send a message to the nosy people and fans who wonder how much money we make.  The phrase in the hook is clear as day: “I get paid, homey I get paid….”.. “We’ve always been heavy on the sneaker game, whether we’re trying or not, so by us having all those sneaker boxes handy, might as well use those for cash storage!”  - Mibbs.

Well there you have it.  Now listen to some gnarly shit below (no pun intended):
