After last night’s heated argument with Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 about her move on pulling out of Summer Jam, Nicki decides to meet with the breakfast club, also, to speak on the topic.  Also, why she was photo’d that same night with Foxy Brown and Cam’ron.

I absolutely LOVE this album cover.  Nas is such a risk taker.  If you're not familiar... the green dress is the wedding dress his ex-wife Kelis wore during their wedding.  Unfortunately, once they split, the dress was the only thing she left behind in the house.  Now... this cover can be interpreted in so many ways.  Mine is.. despite through it all..  he's still here.. and LIFE IS GOOD.  The album is dropping 7/17/12.  Nas. is. back.

Okay.. so a brief run back of what was going on.  Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg called Nicki's "Starship" single "wack" and went on to say that she is no longer "Hip-Hop". As a result, This past weekend, lead artist Nicki Minaj backed out of her Hot 97 Summer Jam performance; an annual fest that takes place in NYC every year.  Unfortunately.. it didn't stop there.  More words were voiced  similarly  between the two crews after.

According to Nick', the order was made by her boss Lil' Wayne in regards to her pulling out last minute.  Last night, she decided to call up to Hot 97 to set the record straight.  This was definitely a heated convo.  I'll share my thoughts on this later.
