Lil Kim Stops by the Breakfast Club; clears air about Nicki Minaj & K. Michelle, talks Motherhood and more...

I'm glad I listened to this interview. As a Kim fan who has nearly all of her albums, I felt a type of way of her always coming at Nicki.... in which I expressed on a post 4 years ago. However, I NEVER heard her side of the story until today. My outlook on the entire situation has changed as well as my thoughts on Kim's behavior. What made this more interesting was Kim's manager, Big Fendi (who also use to be Nicki Minaj's manager), got on the mic and spilled allllll the tea. The story of he and Nick and more was broken down.
In a previous interview just the other week, K. Michelle visited the Breakfast Club and had some things to say about Kim. Kim addressed those as well ... "That chick is a bag of pecans" lol.
Aside from all the drama, which takes up majority of the interview, Kim touches on motherhood, her upcoming documentary, and relationship with Maino. Watch/listen below::

Race Talk : Childish Gambino stops by the Breakfast Club

Our job as like young Blacks in this country is to show our worth...

Ahhh... the debate of Black and White. I've seen many negative comments in reference to this interview as far as Childish Gambino goes. I have great pride and involvement with our culture, which is #obvious, and wasn't offended by anything he said. I understood completely what he was saying. I got Charlemagne’s point, also, BUT I felt he wasn’t really getting what Gambino was trying to relay. One of those moments where you have to really listen (or endure certain things for that matter to understand) more instead of talking. It’s not about ‘inferiority’. It’s about reality… and if you think he was saying the reality is ‘who is better than who’.. You missed the message. Two different plateaus. I could type so much more, but I’ll stop here.
They never really got to the topic of his ‘mixtape’, but rather continued the Black v. White convo for a while and then went all over the place. Quite a conversation spark. Listen below::
'Because Whiteness is blankness. They look at it as a blank slate; when you come in you can be anything. Like when I walk in even if I have a bow tie, they might be like 'Is he Muslim?', they're not gonna do that with a White dude...'

Video: 50 Cent gets REAL on the Breakfast Club

”{On Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo} I wanted them to go be Kanye West. I wanted them to go be Little Wayne” – 50 Cent

"Being personable with people..they'll have that homeboy code. ...Like 'you got it, you should give it to me' ... instead of what makes sense..."As folks may already be aware, the Breakfast Club morning show airs 6am- 9am Monday through Friday. This morning when my 6am alarm went off for work, I was able to catch the premiere of the show on REVOLT TV. It was far from a typical radio show video. Revolt incorporated creative graphics for segments (i.e. the Rumor Report etc.) as well as played the actual video of whatever song they were airing at the time. The full visual experience. They've gained a viewer; I plan to be tuned in every morning.
50 Cent was the first interview to premiere on TBC television debut with one of the best interviews they've had up to date. To give just a few (literally) of the various topics 50 touched on, he discussed: the depth of current relationship with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, the incident of running into his long running feud man Ja Rule, Beyonce giving Jay-Z a pass on his perception in Mainstream, the analogy of Hip Hop consumers being Crack Fiends, artist momentum, How Jay-Z.. Fabolous.. and Lloyd Banks are the same person and so so much more. Along with Yee, Charlamagne, and Envy, anyone who was listening full attention was commanded. 50's knowledge of marketing and business is very impressive. His ability to break everything down for full understanding is the icing on the cake. I respected him before, but I think I may like him a lot more (personality wise) after this. Watch/listen to the full interview (part one and two) below. I promise it's time worth spent...

Video : August Alsina hits the Breakfast Club...

”[Thoughts on Chris Brown's fighting incident over the weekend]...We men. I know me.. I'm not gonna tolerate a nxgga talking to me any type of way...”

He's very aesthetically pleasing. He's tall. He's talented. And has the number one record in the country. August Alsina's buzz is growing stronger and stronger by the days; heading straight to the top. This time around, the Hot R&B sensation sits down with the Breakfast Club discussing his current success with single "I Luv This Shit", Life growing up in New Orleans, originally wanting to sign with YMCMB, "Eating the box" and more. Check him and his distinct accent out below:…

Diddy Launches Music Television Network "REVOLT TV" Today

”We don't have new rules. We have NO rules..."

After Sean "Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy" Combs announced the venture months ago, I am pleased to say...
THE. WAIT. IS. OVER.

{compressed/summarized}
”...Having enough fearlessness to play.. what isn’t.. what doesn’t usually normally get played. All the different alternative artists we gonna be multi genre. Especially in hip hop you know like Travis Scott. or say back in the days.. you know 2 years ago.. ASAP Rocky. When people were just discovering them on you tube.
We’re gonna really kinda curate and be a platform for new aspiring artists to grow for graphic designers, for shooters, really for the culture. But we’re gonna raise the bar.. from a performance level and from a video level to make sure that we have a bar of excellence that you have to achieve in order to get played on REVOLT.
Our focus for the first I would say 6 to 12 months is to be the number one destination for music.. for people that want to see music.."
”There was no CNN of music. There was no one trusted destination...."

REVOLT TV launches tonight @ 8pm EST for Comcast and TimeWarner cable customers in the cities of Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago. While it has started off small, the channel locations will expand as the station progresses. If you need to find out the channel for your city, visit Revolt.Tv. For those who do not live in either of the three cities listed, you can watch the launch via live stream on the website as well.

As an avid music lover, I am extremely excited about the network station and what it WILL do for our culture. While Diddy explains that the network will show music videos about 80% of the time (of different genres), it's clear REVOLT will concentrate more on the culture compared to the typical (no shade) MTV, BET,

Cam'ron visits the Breakfast Club ; talks the fall of Dipset, beefs with Jay-Z & 50 Cent, and more...

Let's act like we got beef..."

Last week, Cam hit the Breakfast Club for a very interesting interview. Most of the questions we had as fans about what "happened" with Dipset, Mase, Jay-Z etc. were finally answered. He, also, touches on random topics such as Mase teaching Jim how to rap, Ghostwriting 'Crush on You' for Lil' Caese, Talks of a Dipset biopic movie, His basketball career until College, Mariah Carey being 'hood' and more. Throughout the interview, I noticed how Cam seems to have humbled and matured alot more (comparing to his days in the limelight) which ultimately results in more wise thoughts/decisions. That's always a good look.

Video: Consequence tells ALL in Breakfast Club Interview..

How pxssy gon’ bother me!?.. I will wash Big Sean up!

Yikes.  If you were expecting this interview to be about Love & Hip Hop... you were in for a surprise.  Consequence and Jen the Pen went on the Breakfast Club to keep it “real” about his beefs with everyone! Lol.
That being Raqi Thunder, Joe Budden, Kanye, Q- Tip, Pusha T, Big Sean, and anyone else you can think of lol.  He is going off in this interview. I don’t want to say he went to the extreme by releasing so much information because CLEARLY this is coming from a deep place as you can tell by his anger behind it.. BUT I wish they had talked about everything before it resulted to this.. *sigh.  Listen/Watch Below:

LHHNY's Tahiry & Joe Budden hit the Breakfast Club

Don’t be yappin about me all day….

On Monday night.. most of us were tuned into the season 3 premiere of Love and Hip Hop New York, which contained an all new cast.  I’m sure none of were expecting it to turn into the Joe Budden & his lovers show.  Threw me for a loop as the entire episode mainly wrapped around Joey and his love for his ex Tahiry.. Another girl named Raqi who he claims as a friend while she says different.. and his actual girlfriend who had NO relevance in the episode AT ALL * sideeye.  You can catch the FULL episode here.

Anywho.. as if it wasn’t concluded enough that Joey and Tahiry are still MADLY in love with one another.. they both visited the Breakfast Club (during separate interviews) the next day to thicken the plot. Check it out after the jump:

RHOA's Porsha Stewart stops by the Breakfast Club. Talks Kenya Moore beef, Gay rumors about her husband and more...

Age would not have been an issue...
until she started calling me a "little girl"..

That'll do it.  I am in LOVE with this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA).  It has surely become one of my guilty pleasures.  To do a recap.. last night's episode circulated towards the end with Ms. Stewart.. wife of retired NFL Steelers quarterback.. Kordell Stewart.  Her and Kenya Moore seemed to have a HUGE disagreement in which I feel was escalated way too far by Kenya for insecure reasons.  Any whom.. what perfect time, after all that drama last night, for the Breakfast Club to pick her up for an interview.

If you saw the episode last night... whose side are you on?

Sn:  I still won’t listen to his new single “Holy Water”.  I feel like I’ll have to repent afterward.  Everybody in the church.. is not walking out Holier than thou”

Nelly hit the Breakfast Club this morning for an interview about his current endeavors, singer Ashanti and more.  Nel' didn't take to kind to Charlamagne saying his music was "cold" right now.  He was quick to set the record straight and stated some pretty good facts in defense.  I commend him for that... stand up for yours.
