SZA x Crocs "Jean Therapy" Collection

all images courtesy of Breyona Holt

SZA collaborated with Crocs earlier this year commemorating mental health awareness.  The two have reunited once again for the Jean Therapy collection, Y2K inspired Crocs.  This collection contains the "Cozzzy" sandal and "Crush" clog, both of which feature millennium style jibbitz such as a floppy disk and flip phone etc.

Continuing on from the DR post.  Day 4 and the second stop on my birthday venture was St. Thomas!  Slight redemption story here...

Time Warp...1999: 4, 5, 6 | Sole' x JT Money x Kandi Burruss

Circa 1999.
Ya'll remember this spread of Karrine in KING Magazine!?
Always found a way to buy an album on sale with my lil coins as a tween.  Sole's Skin Deep is one of the few I paid full price for; $18.99 at Kemp Mill smh.  How long did it take me to save up for that? Didn't matter.  If they were a female rapper, they had my attention.  Song #1829121 I had no business singing lol
Ain't nan hoe gon bring it
Like you know I'mma bring it.

{Watch/Trailer}- HBO MAX presents... The Story of the Controversial 90s TV Psychic, "Call Me Ms. Cleo"

CALL ME NOW!  I hope you read that in her voice.  Growing up, her commercials were on like clockwork.  Ms. Cleo had the 90s psychic world in a chokehold.  Just like most things, her commercials randomly disappeared.  As we moved into the millennium, did people lose interest in Psychic Readers?  or  did something else occur?

HBO Max explores this mystery in their upcoming documentary, Call Me Ms. Cleo.  The documentary chronicles the rise, fall, and reinvention of the world renowned psychic Ms. Cleo; featuring testimonials from celebrities, close acquaintances and so forth.
Watch the trailer after the jump!

I'm back!  Excusez-moi s'il vous plait.  October and November were rough on me this year.  There will be an end of the year post addressing all that.  Let's rewind though back to October.  For my 35th birthday (whoop whoop), I went on a 7day solo trip to different countries/islands.  You'll see more in future posts.  The airline misplaced my luggage (upside down smiley face) so I went an entire week literally thugging it out.  All I had in my plane carry on tote were sunglasses, eyebrow brush, 1 lipstick, my journal/pen, passport, wallet, charger, airpods.  All toiletries I had to buy that night and clothes each day when I could.  Traveling to remote areas is a great idea unless this happens lol.  When you see me in tourist shit in these pics and hair all wild, just mind ya business... that's all... just mind ya business.  I had to make due!  I, also, had a mini photo shoot a couple days before I left (i.e. the pic above).  Thank God for that.  You will see them trickled throughout.

When life gives me lemons (often), I make orange juice.

On my actual birthday... first stop.  Taino Bay, Dominican Republic!

Time Warp...1995: Can't Be Wasting My Time | Mona Lisa x Lost Boyz

Circa 1995.
There were A LOT of elusive r&b gems throughout the 90s.  Each time I stumble across an old jam, a memory is unlocked.  A smooth version of the KRS sample.  Sidebar: Cheeks verse *proceeds to bankhead bounce.
Communication is the key to our happiness
If we just talk about it
Maybe we can make some sense.

Happy Birthday Tony.  Rest Easy.

So Ambitious: Pharrell is Auctioning Off his Personal items on JOOPITER

Can I have it like that?  You got it like that.
Skateboard P is capitalizing off his trendsetting fashions and swag with his latest venture, JOOPITER.
JOOPITER is a space for "today's collector" founded by Pharrell where many of his personal items will be digitally auctioned off.

The idea behind JOOPITER is to embrace the energy that is released when objects change hands, and to respect the value that’s been created around these objects...

Time Warp...1993: Whatzupwitu | Eddie Murphy x Michael Jackson

Circa 1993.
Ya'll remember this one!?  Aside from the song, I love Eddie and Mike's chemistry.  Each time you saw them together, you could tell they were friends in REAL life.  I'm sure this was a fun time on set.
Waaaazup...Waazzup...Whatzupwitu?
