Tey is starring in an upcoming film, "A Thousand and One"; winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. The plot surrounds Inez (Taylor) kidnapping her six year old son, Terry, from the foster care system and has been described as a love letter to mothers, songs, and hustlers of NYC.
