{Personal Post} PHOTOS: Pepsi Dig In Day Block Party x CityFest DC

There were so many things happening this day!  We made our way to two of them.  Pepsi's Dig In Day Block Party - A celebration of Black Owned restaurants.  It featured musical performances by Amira, Alex Vaughn, Pusha T, and Black Alley.  Pepsi's Dig In movement aims to provide Black Owned restaurants with resources needed to help build their business and thrive, alongside raising visibility.

CityFest DC - A celebration of the Washington D.C community.  This festival featured all local vendors to spotlight the one of a kind culture in our city!  A day filled with fun and laughs.  Here's how they both went...

Rewind.  Before we headed to anything, me and the bestie went to brunch.  Food and mimosas us please.

Cheers!

Tequila and things.  Time to head to the block party!

"Damnnn, this line long"

It was reallly long.  They offered free Pepsi during the wait and bottled water.

We took the water.  There was a DJ on stage at this time too, so there was some entertainment.  Chris Brown was on at this moment.  I say Yooooo

A packed house.

'You don't take these type of risks boy...'

'Mix dr*gs and show money, Biggs Burke on tour'

'From ghetto to ghetto, to backyard to yard'

We all were collectively rapping Kim verse on Mary's 'I Can Love You'.
If I told you once, I told you twice.

Demont Pinder was to the left creating while Black Alley performed.  You may remember him from my Air PinderStory post.

I spent 95% of my time in the corner dancing.

Finito.

I completely forgot to take pictures of the food trucks pictured because we were having so much fun!  However, they were there and shout out to Horace and Dickie's, Jerk at Nite, Money Muscle BBQ, Roaming Rooster, Slim & Husky's, and Shuck Shack.

Besides being out all day, we capped the night off  early after the block party.  I had a flight to catch.
'til next time
xoxo.
