ASAP Ferg hosts 1st Annual Ferg Health Fair in Harlem, NY

Giving back to the community. ASAP Ferg showed love to his hometown, Harlem, over the past weekend by hosting the 1st annual Ferg Health Fair for the youth- in conjunction with Children's Village and People of Peace. Aimed to assist underprivileged kids, each child received a health voucher towards a physical and mental self check up. Aside from the seriousness, there were fun activities for the kids to participate in such as one-on-one DJ lessons from the Jam Master Jay Foundation and Scratch Academy, Q & A with ASAP Ferg, Basketball games and more.
Ferg takes a deep interest in health as his father passed away due to kidney failure.

"Growing up, my Dad always emphasized the vitality of giving back to the community and making sure we never gave up on our dreams. His encouragement motivated me to never settle and he’s the reason I am where I am today, but I’m not the only one. My dad spent his life helping kids in the community stay off the streets and make something of themselves. He may be gone but his legacy lives on through the people of our neighborhood and all the lives he touched…"

In the final part of the Svddxnly Documentary series, ASAP closes out his tour with Rihanna. This part features appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Riff Raff, Big Sean, Schoolboy Q, Chris Brown, and his lady friend (model) Chanel Iman. Mad Cheeba smoke blew through out the entire clip, including a personal session where Rocky reflects on his current career and where he hopes to be. Speaking of reflection, I had my moment reflecting on that concert/tour. I went to the DC show. This one, also, reminded me (what I've been saying every week now for months smh).. I Miss New York.

In part four of the series, you can catch footage of Rocky chillin with close friend fashion icon Jeremy Scott and a brief story of how they became so cool. After mistaking comedian Kathy Griffin as 'the character from Family Guy' lol, Rocky visits her home and has a rather unusual experience. Also, Rocky discusses celebrities that he actually considers friends and can talk to including Snoop Dogg who he takes some words of wisdom from. On the second part series of Rocky's Svddxnly Documentary, we witness his Tour bus studio, 'Lou', quick convos with Drake and Macklemore, and Rocky opening up about his late brother, Ricky. Rocky, also, touches on his the topic of his father (who later makes an appearance in the documentary)getting locked up and his family becoming homeless. Watch below::

Per the May 2013 post featuring the trailer, the 'Suddenly' documentary has finally hit the waves over a year later. After watching this one, I will say it was worth the wait. Noisey is presenting the documentary in 5 separate parts. Part one chronicles Rocky's early life from photos to interviews with family (his fam is beautiful), first 'show' moments recorded, touring with Rihanna and more. I’ve gone to see Rocky everytime he came to the city… concert, listening party, etc. you name it. This brought back some good memories. Part 2 coming next week. Check Part 1 out below::

GQ Mag took it to Harlem for a style 'tutorial' on How to Rock a Suit with Creativity. Along with Chefs, Jazz musicians, Business owners etc., Cam'ron and the ASAP Mob were featured. Sweet.
