First Look :: 'Straight Outta Compton' biopic extended Film Trailer

It's here...the first official Red Band trailer of the 'Straight Outta Compton' biopic released on Universal Pictures YouTube page two days ago.  Featuring a quite fitting introduction from Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and guests (The Game.. Kendrick Lamar etc.), the trailer of the film picks up right after for what is seeming to be deemed classic worthy already.  
This looks soooooo good.  I can't wait.  'Straight Outta Compton' hits theaters.. August 14th.

Casting selected for Ice Cube, Eazy- E, and Dr. Dre in N.W.A. biopic

It IS happening. Progression has been made from my April post on the Suge Knight casting selection. Above you see a picture of Ice Cube, Director Gary F. Gray, and Dr. Dre. Kneeled in front of them are the casting selections for the following (L to R):
O'Shea Jackson Jr. -Ice Cube's son will be playing the role of his father
Jason Mitchell as Eazy - E
Marcus Callendar as Dr. Dre.

Cube tweeted this week that the movie will be hitting theaters 8/14/15. NYDailyNews reports this WAS the same date of the latest installment of the Bourne series. However, Universal Studios bumped

Casting begins for N.W.A biopic; Comedian Capone selected for 'Suge Knight' role ...

The ball is rolling for the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Castings have been held for the F. Gary Gray recently in DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Baltimore, and Gardena, California. It was announced on radio show Dre's House earlier, that comedian Capone (Death of a Dynasty) was casted for the role of Suge Knight.
