Kelis Releases a Children's Book "Seven Wonders of Africa"

Kelis has started a new company titled, Make It Brown.  Its first release is the "Seven Wonders of Africa" children's book, written by Kelis herself.  The story was inspired by Kelis' personal journey with her family throughout Africa this year; seeing and appreciating all that the continent has to offer.  Her 'Make It Brown' company aims to provide characters and stories about places and adventures that our children can see themselves represented in.  "Seven Wonders of Africa" introduces the world to...

Trailer : Kelis 'Saucy and Sweet' special tonight on the Cooking Channel

With her culinary themed titled album, FOOD, dropping in April.. Ms. K. Rogers is continuing on with that signature as tonight her 'Saucy and Sweet' special premieres on the cooking channel. Kelis, a graduate from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, already has her sauce line called "Feast" in which she debuted at the Beverly Hills Food and Wine Festival last November.

"At Feast, we want to celebrate life. And we want to do it daily. The most joyous, the most memorable, the most nostalgic moments in our lives...often times occur during a feast. Weddings, birthdays, reunions, first dates, proposals...festive food is inseparable from our most precious moments. At Feast, we believe that these moments shouldn’t be limited to only once or twice a year. At Feast, every day will be a celebration of life, love and happiness. Every day will truly feel like a special occasion. Every day will be a holiday"

Initially when I posted this song back in April 2013, it was titled ‘Call on Me”. Now, the Dave Sitek produced track is known as ‘Jerk Ribs’… a cut that will appear on Kells forthcoming album, Food. In this visual, the beautiful songbird veers through an assortment of glam and photoshoots in a beautiful country while performing parts of the song here and there. Everything about this is nice. Tomorrow, would have been his 45th birthday. In lieu of the remembrance to the Wu-Tang clan legend, it's only right today's Time Warp be tributed to him…

The controversy after Nas released the artwork for the album cover ‘Life is Good’..all stirred due to one little thing.. Kelis’ wedding dress being on the album cover.  Nas met up with MTV last week to speak on the reasoning behind it.

Sorry folks... there are so many i hate now that i use to like (mainly because of bad memories/people). I could blog for 30 days with those songs alone lol. Anyway.. Sorry.. no post for this one... I don't need to be reminded why i hate them.. and hearing them or seeing them would do that right now. Kelis said it best... "I hate you so much right now".. she was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
