This wasn't easy, I overcame every obstacle.

I heard this verse on Twitter a couple weeks back and was blown away.  Honestly, I think it outshined everyone featured on the song and that's why it was left off.  I can only HOPE that it's on Donda 2.  Conway was talking that talk.  The cadence behind said talk made it hit even harder.  Listen below.  Who you?

2015 marks the 10th anniversary of fashion brand- Alexander Wang.  The popular designer honors the occasion with an array of celebs dressed in his t-shirts/athletic wear in photos.  The t-shirt is $45 (hoody $85) will go to the charitable organization Do Something - a charity of 4 million members devoted to creating social change by volunteering and making 'the world suck less'.  The list is 38 folks long, but just to give you a synopsis... include, ASAP Rocky (lordt he looks good), Kanye, Kate Moss, The Weeknd, Pamela Anderson, Taraji P. Henson, and much more (including the ones displayed below).  NY fashion week is coming in a few days.  Are you ready?

"What Ye' is It?? " ... A Kanye West Album infused Calendar

Kanye's all over the place!  He's been in a couple of my posts lately.  Here's another to add to collection.  Portland based inspired Nick Stokes and Eric Swanson have turned Ye's album catalog into a virtual calendar.

On the site, it features a new video for each day of the week.  Yesterday's was 'Touch the Sky'.  I checked again today and it is 'Stronger'.  The site is, also, said to keep folks posted on the upcoming release of his highly anticipated 7th studio album, newly titled- 'Swish'.  

If this was a physical calendar, I'd def cop.

Graphic designer/Illustrator Zak Tebbal presents us with Ye's 'Bound 2' track... in the form of a children's book called 'Bound 2Gether'.  It does not contain the actual lyrics, but a translation of what could be made of the story- for children.  The interesting thing is... Kanye is illustrated as himself.  Kim Kardashian West, on the other hand, is illustrated as a chicken.  Hmmm.   Anywho... In a small petite booklet consisting of 11 pages, New York- based Tebbal creates a playful kid friendly story of love and friendship.

The trailer has surfaced for Dame Dash and Kanye West Executive produced, 'The Secret to Ballin'. This docudrama touches on the principals, methods, and strategies of success. The film consists of both organizational life skills (i.e. research, planning, decision making etc.) and a series of interviews from notables in the Industry (i.e. music artists, spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs etc.) 

 "What is discovered is that many peoples perspective of being successful vary although all will agree that, true success definitely involves being happy in the end".

Cast: Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Damon Dash, Kelly Rowland, Faith Evans, Redman, RZA, and more.

Damon Dash and Kanye West to buy Karmaloop??

Reports floated that popular urban fashion e-retailer, Karmaloop, filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection after several failed side ventures that ultimately ripened a great amount of debt for the company. Damon Dash revealed in an interview that he and Kanye West are in the running to buy Karmaloop. According to the founder/CEO Greg Selkoe, they aren’t the only interested – “We’ve heard from them and others too. There’s a lot of interest in Karmaloop and we consider that a good thing.”

All debt aside, this may turn out for the better of the company. Let the bidding begin…

Last Sunday, Sean Don announced his third studio album 'Dark Sky Paradise' to the public with the release date of February 24th.  This past Friday, he served up a new offering featuring heavy hitters Kanye West and Drake.  While the song is titled 'Blessings', the production goes with a Dark Sky Paradise theme carrying a looped horror movie like melody under slapped drums.

I have been patiently waiting for new music from #R8.  FourFive Seconds appears to be the first official offering (there was a track floating around weeks ago 'said' to be on the album).  

On this, Ye opts for vocals instead of his expected rap persona.  Purchase on iTunes now.  In the meantime, listen to them croon over this folk under toned track about ...well...'spazzing'. 

Sn:  The added braille to the artwork is a nice touch. 

Kanye's 'Guilt Trip' on 'Yeezus' was for 'Watch the Throne'; has unfinished Jay-Z Verse

Isn't that interesting. During the A3C ProAudio conference this year, Producer S1 (Symbolyc One) sat down with DJBooth TV and revealed that Kanye's "Guilt Trip" on the Yeezus album was actually originally recorded for the "Watch the Throne" album. The original version even has a few bars from Jay on it. My... I would've loved to hear that. Listen/Watch S1 tell the story below::
