Earlier last week, OVO announced the "North America Game-day" Fall/Winter 2023 collection.  Their NFL collaboration includes apparel for the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants. 

Jackets, hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, and mini helmets.

I'm sure all remember earlier this year when a snippet of this song surfaced on the internet.  Many were anticipating Drake would release the song hours later etc. but to no avail.  Yesterday, on OVO Sound Radio/Apple Music Beats 1, OVO Co-founder El-Khatib played the official version of the track.  I gravitated to the snippet... and hearing the entire cut is no different.  It's addictive.  Short.. but listen to 'Can I' below::

Future releases his latest visual "Where Ya At" featuring Drake.  The video premiered simultaneously in New York's Times Square and online via VEVO.  This falls on Future's boomin album, Dirty Sprite 2... available now.  Watch below::

Video :: 100 | The Game x Drake

When I heard DJ Envy's premier of '100' this morning on the Breakfast Club, I immediately picked up my phone and sent the text 'Yo... the Game sampled Peabo joant all crazy'.  I wrote more but that's the condensed version.  Wait... now that I think about it, it could've been Stephanie Mills version sampled.  Hmm.  Either way, same song.
Nevertheless, for this collaboration, The Game and Drake flow over the smooth Feel the Fire loop that is set to appear on the Game's upcoming project, The Documentary 2.  The two were caught filming the video for this recently.  I'm sure that'll drop soon.  Listen to the track below::
Update:  A little over a month later, the video has arrived.  Set in Compton.  Directed by Theo Skudra.

Obey Your Verse:: Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Rakim, & Drake Lyrics on new SPRITE can series

This summer, hip-hop lyrics will be plastered on SPRITE cans across the nation in the 'Obey Your Verse' lyrical collection.    The culture influence is everywhere.  In this series, there will be a total of 16 cans with each artist- Nas, Biggie, Rakim, and Drake- having a quote on one of their own.  According to a SPRITE press release, there artists were selected based on their reputation for being true to themselves through their music and advancing the culture.

Last Sunday, Sean Don announced his third studio album 'Dark Sky Paradise' to the public with the release date of February 24th.  This past Friday, he served up a new offering featuring heavy hitters Kanye West and Drake.  While the song is titled 'Blessings', the production goes with a Dark Sky Paradise theme carrying a looped horror movie like melody under slapped drums.

This highly anticipated track hit the internet waves yesterday, but for some reason each time it was removed. I think it's safe to post today. While the production vaguely gave me hints of 'Senile', the lyrics are on another level. Nicki kills this, and the gimmick for the beginning of each verse (as seen above) was actually a great idea.
This is a cut from her upcoming third solo album, The Pinkprint, which was originally slated for release Black Friday but has recently been announced it is delayed for release until December 15th.

6 days ago, Drake's 'How about Now' began floating around the net.  After celebrating his 28th birthday, Drake released 3 new songs (including the mastered version of 'How about Now', tweeting:  

"That wasn't an EP.  Just 3 songs that I knew some hackers had.  But enjoy!  Back to this album"

For this loosie, Drake "dedicates" the track to Texas A&M quarterback, Johnny Manziel, who is also a close friend of his. This is a nice cut... and if you listen closely, you'll catch the reason behind this artwork as well as a sneak diss in return to the Gawd's comment the other week. There's your hint. I don’t know one person that really knows the words to the original track, but when it comes on in the club..Mannnnnnnn. That ‘tear the club up’ loop is a perfect addition to the background (although Juicy isn’t apart of three six anymore .. I digress) because that’s exactly what happens when the DJ spins this. Future steps back from verses on this one and just maintains the hook while Drake spits subliminal shots at folk with Juicy J up to follow. This remix will appear on DJ Esco’s No Sleep mixtape which drops at 3PM today. Listen below:

The first time I heard this song,  I was already turned up from all the bottles I tapped in our section.  This came on and everyone went crazyy.  Applicable state of mind at its finest.  After just debuting a preview of the vid two day ago at his show in New Orleans, Drake releases the final product this sunny afternoon.  Taking place in Memphis, this video (or short film if you will) features cameos from Juicy J, Project Pat, OVO's Ryan & O'Brien, Turk, and last but not least... Drake's father, Dennis Graham.
