Ran it back to the Roots Picnic again.  Philly always treats me well.  There weren't many interactive things this year compared to last, so I combined all of my shots for both days into one post.  Let's dig into the details...

This song went platinum in my car Sophomore/Junior year of college.  Wayne was on a crazyyyy run then.  

I forgot about it until it came on recently.  Still a bop.

Earlier last week, OVO announced the "North America Game-day" Fall/Winter 2023 collection.  Their NFL collaboration includes apparel for the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants. 

Jackets, hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, and mini helmets.

When 'Trouble' first started floating about 8 or 9 years ago, I remember vividly leaving work heading back to campus in my Toyota Corolla with this blaring from the subs.  I won't even touch on the amount of times it was played in my apt/dorm.  I would have the regular AND the chopped x screwed version playing back to back on repeat for an extended period of time.

Fast forward to today... the mastered version has finally surfaced.  Aside from the clarity, I noticed immediately they removed the 'war ensuing' in the background at the beginning of the song like they had on the 'mixtape' version.. along with other minor changes here and there.  You know the music is GOOD when years later... it still gives you the exact same feeling it gave you before.  I've already had it on repeat between the original and this one back and forth for the past ten minutes and counting.  Vibe out ...

After just premiering the track Monday morning, the visual followed hours later. Khaled gives unintentional comedy similar to that in the ‘Hold you Down’ video. I heard this song a total of three times within one hour on the radio during the commute home yesterday. Undoubtedly, this will be an instant club banger for sure.

More than a Hobby:: Lil Wayne shows of his Skateboarding skills with Torey Pudwill

When Wayne started with the 'skateboard' wave, we all thought (admit it) he was just going with the latest trend.  To many of our surprise, years later.. he's still rolling.  Sweet.  He's actually good!  I think it's tight he's able to balance out his passion for two different worlds- Rapping and Skateboarding without lacking either.  

Professional street skater Torey Pudwill (Grizzly) met up with Wayne at his private skate park in Miami for a quick assembly.  Both of them humbled and excited about the link up- as they are fans of each other- made for a notable session.  Redbull was there to capture it all.

Fourth release from Wayne's upcoming album, Carter V, which was also recently announced it has been pushed back. I'm not sure what's going on with Young Money at the moment with all the push backs and commotion but hopefully they will get it together. Check 'Gotti' out below::

This highly anticipated track hit the internet waves yesterday, but for some reason each time it was removed. I think it's safe to post today. While the production vaguely gave me hints of 'Senile', the lyrics are on another level. Nicki kills this, and the gimmick for the beginning of each verse (as seen above) was actually a great idea.
This is a cut from her upcoming third solo album, The Pinkprint, which was originally slated for release Black Friday but has recently been announced it is delayed for release until December 15th.
