All Black-Women Crew operated American Airlines flight to honor Bessie Coleman

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Bessie Coleman, the first Black woman to earn a Pilot's license.  Two weeks ago, American Airlines honored this commemorative mark in history by operating one of their flights out of Dallas, TX with a flight crew comprised solely of Black Women.  Pilots, Flight Attendants, Cargo Team Members, Technicians and so forth.
Empowering.

"She bravely broke down barriers within the world of aviation and paved the path for many to follow"- American Airlines press release.  For more celebrations, news, and merch of Bessie Coleman's achievement, click HERE.
